"Great hotel, excellent service and food, very nice rooms. Unfortunately the pool bed reservation issue is ongoing for years. And 7:30am 80% of the pool beds are reserved with towels and most if it not used until 2pm. This is a typical “german” behavior but the hotel seems to be ok with it - unfortunately. Other hotels have clear rules about this. "

"We recently stayed at Seaside Grand Hotel Residencia in Gran Canaria and honestly didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, welcoming, and genuinely luxurious without being over the top. The setting is beautiful — tucked away in lush gardens and just a short walk to the Maspalomas dunes and beach. It feels very private and peaceful, which is exactly what we were looking for. Our room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with a lovely terrace to relax on. The attention to detail really stood out, from the daily housekeeping to the little touches that made it feel special. What really made the stay, though, was the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we were happy — it felt very personal. The food was also a highlight. Breakfast had plenty of choice and great quality, and dinner felt like a proper fine dining experience each evening. The pool and spa area were perfect for unwinding — quiet, clean, and never too busy. If you’re looking for a relaxing, high-quality hotel in Gran Canaria, I’d highly recommend this place. It’s not the spot for nightlife, but for peace and comfort, it’s hard to beat. We’ll definitely be back again ."

"Food was ok but wasn't fantastic. The first 3 days most things were dry, and tough. Warm food was cold and cold food warm. They have a few activities throughout the day on site but really not that many options and the activities are no more than 30-45 minutes during the day which for somethings like archery make it difficult to enjoy if your turn is only 3 shots and on to the next person. Most staff were friendly but a few were rude, especially since we were english speaking. Avoid the photo hotel, its a scam and most workers will waste your time since they want you to buy the bundle. We were content with purchasing a few photos but they ignored us and tried to play games when we said as much. We ended up walking away with no photos after spending 20-30 minutes the day before having them taken. The dining room and reception/main space are stunning but everywhere else needs a lot of TLC. Water damage can be seen to a lot of the walls in the hallways and one of the rooms. One of our bathrooms had a lot of water pooling into the floor because of the design of the tub and glass partition. Also found that the shape of the tub and sloping allowed for water to pool and remain at the bottom. All inclusive has two levels for drinks. Regular and premium, if you want to have margaritas or cocktails, you have to say extra per day per person in the room."

"Had a perfect week's stay. All the staff were so friendly, helpful, and made us feel incredibly welcome. Breakfast was fantastic - we loved the pancakes, fresh fruit, and eggs. The pools are beautiful and as the main lazy river winds around the beautifully planted grounds there's always somewhere fairly private and quiet to lay out. The bars are very fairly priced, with great drinks. Housekeeping quick and great attention to detail. Little details like the access to shower room after you've checked out are so helpful! We don't want to leave! "

"Clean room and quiet at night. The room was facing to southwest with strong sun coming into the room. The room temperature was more than 30 C in early afternoon. THe balcony is great, but it was too hot to sit. The air conditioner of the room was not working to cool the room. Breakfast buffet was wonderful with a variety of choices of bread, fruits, and cheese."
