Appartement moderne et propre. Matelas de la chambre principale extrêmement inconfortable. On sent les ressorts. Connexion wifi très mauvaise, on doit sortir sur le balcon en haut pour meilleure connexion et ça coupe toujours.

Serait parfait sans les chiens comme voisins.

L,appartement était très bien, assez bien équipé au niveau de la cuisine. La seule note négative concerne l’environnement. Les propriétaires de maisons juste à côté, possédaient tous un ou deux chiens et ceux-ci ont jappé les nuits où nous étions là. Ceci a perturbé notre sommeil évidemment.

This was a great place to stay to be close to everything. It was also great for my family of four. There was a main bedroom for my husband and I, then a second bedroom for my two kids that had two single beds. The beds were rock hard though. The shower is cold water unless you just barely turn it on, then it is warm water. I also felt communication was not there. At first it was for booking the place. Then I received a message asking for my email address so they could send me check in and out information. I sent them my email address and never heard anything. We were lucky cleaning staff was there when we got there to let us in. Another guest had to put our key away too.

Great value for money close to local amenities

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. Basic but great value for. money. The local area is 15 minute walk from La Fortuna centre where there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets. The only down side to the location is a lot of stray dogs at night barking and disturbing our sleep.

Conveniently located to bus terminal, restaurants and supermarkets. Nice and clean apartment. Simple and quick check in and checkout process. Owner was easy to communicate with and was helpful in answering travel related questions. The only thing I was not comfortable with was very shaky Wi-Fi signals. Owner was informed about it.

Nice place

We liked the Apartamentos Vallee de Volcan: it was clean, quiet, good A/C, good WiFi and had spacious bedrooms. We could walk downtown for groceries in 15 min. or less. The neigborhood seemed safe and we walked downtown for icecream on a couple of evenings. The check-in was fast and easy - with the use of a lock box for the keys. There was also a safe which was nice. The water supply for the shower was adequate but we were a bit surprised that there was no hot water in the kitchen or bathroom sinks. To wash dishes we heated water on the stove in a big pot and since there was no plug for the kitchen sink we washed the dishes in the big pot. It would be handy to have a large bowl for salads etc. There was complimentary coffee and a kind of cookie as a welcome.

Excelente opción, bien equipado, cerca del centro de la Fortuna. Las camas son cómodas, tiene 2 habitaciones, el baño amplio, y tiene una bonita área social. Además Andrea la anfitriona es muy amable, siempre pendiente de todo. Facilidad a la hora de hacer el check in y checkout. 100% recomendado.

El apartamento está en muy buenas condiciones,muy limpio y equipado. Todo como en las fotos. En un lugar tranquilo y seguro. No pude ver a los anfitriones pero estuvieron muy atentos a mi llegada. Me enviaron todas las instruccionos via email e información sobre los tours. Lo único que nos incomodó un poco fue que las camas hacen mucho ruido cuando uno se mueve y nos despertábamos, pero eso tiene arreglo. Se lo recomiendaré a mis amigos.

Nice comfortable & close to activities

The check in was easy and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was convenient and close to groceries and restaurants and many activities. We were close to the Arenal oasis wildlife refuge, the waterfalls and many ATV adventures. We can recommend this place to other travelers.

Very nice, clean and quiet

We had an excellent stay at Apartamento Valle de Volcan. Our place was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Our room and balcony also had excellent views of Arenal Volcano. The owner stopped by to make sure everything was ok. I would definitely stay here again.

Très bel endroit, très propre et tranquille à 5 minutes à pied du centre ville Andrea nous a aidé à bouquer notre transport vers Monteverde, nous a conseiller pour les bains thermal et réserve notre taxi allé retour tout ça en 5 minutes ! Très bon service!

This is a great deal on hotel in town of La Fortuna. The location is convenient to tourist attractions in the area, you will need transportation to visit them, but you can walk to the center of the town of La Fortuna within 5 minutes. The manager Andrea was extremely helpful and was there to answer any questions we had and to help us with reservations of the attractions we wanted to see/do. She also suggested us something different than we originally planned and by her recommendation it turned out to be a great deal and experience.

Nice but...

This is in a quiet neighborhood in the residential part of town. There is nice kitchen area but has tiny bugs. Beds are very comfortable but only hot water is in shower. The shower head is also a heater and has electric wires coming out of it which is pretty scary. The managers of this property are very accommodating and patiently answered our many questions.

Wonderful apartmento!

Excellent deal within easy walking distance of LaFortuna city square, restarantes, mercado, chocolatier and bancos! Beds were a little stiff, but local hospitality and assistance of owners Roberto and Andrea were invaluable! I highly recommend this property and experience if you want an authentic, clean and fun experience in LaFortuna!

This is a private residence with no office or reception. Although, it isn't stated anywhere on hotels.com, the owners need to be contacted 24 hours in advance of the arrival. We were unaware of this and booked the place the same day we were suppose to arrive. We had to call the customer care center and were then able to get the code and required information to get the keys and enter the apartment. The place itself is pretty comfortable with a living room, kitchen and two bedroom. Spacious and clean. Would stay here again
