Hotel Mountain Paradise

"Property was amazing! Beautiful views. Rooms were clean and nice. Bathroom was clean but shower and taps did not work. Shower will only give hot water. Maintenance came to fix it but was then stuck on that temperature. Shower system was very hard to maneuver and adjust. Breakfast buffet was marginal. Resturant was expensive and not so good. Overall we enjoyed our stay!"

"Nice property in the heart of La Fortuna. Very walkable to restaurants, shopping or a nice stroll. Easy access to many activities in the town. Cute room but small-ish with a decent pool and nice views of the volcano. Good breakfast but gets boring eating the same thing every morning - could switch up the menu a bit. No food/drinks on property after breakfast time but its super close to many restaurants and bars. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be in the middle of the town."

"Best stay in La Fortuna! We loved the serene property, lush grounds, clean and pretty rooms, the POOLS - OMG - the pools and the hot springs we a big hit with adults and kids alike. Nice breakfast buffet spread and the views of Arenal Volcano from the property is to die for! Highly recommend staying here."

"I would only stay at this property for a family or group trip. It was a beautiful property with lovely pools, watersides and volcanic springs. However it was very touristy and busy with people everywhere. The restaurant options were good, but the food was average and pricey. The overall amenities were convenient. I was able to get laundry service and there is also room service available. I had a huge roach in my room on the first morning that I had to kill with my shoe and there were no hooks to dry your wet clothes and towels aside from outside, and it was raining so that did not help to dry anything. I would not book this property for a quiet romantic getaway. However, my tween kids enjoyed it immensely and liked the water slides, room service and pool grill. The location was perfect and convenient to all the restaurants in town. There is a lovely gift shop on site. I would buy your souvenirs here, the airport prices are almost double the prices at this store. There is a beautiful view of the volcano via a 2 mile upward hike or via car drive."

"The place is so lovely! It rained the whole time we were there and we never saw the volcano but it did not matter. We spent our whole time on the property. The jacuzzi we had was amazing and the food in the restaurants was delicious!"
