We stayed at Hotel Paseo del Sol with my family and had a really good experience overall. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable right away. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and has a calm, family-friendly atmosphere.
The location was great, right at La Costa del Sol, which made everything very convenient. Because of that, we ended up eating at the hotel most of the time, and honestly, the food exceeded our expectations. The quality was very good, the meals were well prepared, and it was nice not having to leave the hotel to enjoy good food.
Our room was comfortable, spacious, and quiet, making it easy to relax and rest. The common areas were also clean and enjoyable.
Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant stay, and we felt well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Hotel Paseo del Sol, especially for families, and I would stay here again without hesitation.
The location is very convenient , beautiful amenities. Good food . The staff were very friendly and always be attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable.
It was amazing!
Everyone was friendly and super helpful! The rooms were very clean and loved that we could hear the ocean from our room!
The food was also amazing and had plenty of options to try.
There is potential but this place needs a lot of upgrading. The pool area is nice and the food is good and there are hammocks near the beach but too many pigeons nesting.
Good for a low budget trip to the beach. Safe and family friendly. Limited bar options.
It's a really nice cute space, room was kinda small and they did take long to clean our rooms other than that was perfect also they overcharge for taxis because u will not find any Uber at all in that area and it's 25 min drive to airport which isn't bad at all ! Overall beach and pool area was amazing wished they had cocktails only beer but everything else was great especially the food !

Disliked: Cleanliness
A convenient place for a day trip. I would hold from booking with family as the hotel is still under renovation, it has some drainage issues (puddle in the bathroom after we showered).
The staff is very friendly, however a little negligent (you have to ask for things twice), but they are very helpful in the end.
Excellent customer service. The staff was friendly and helpful. Cesar was in charge of our group and did an excellent job. He was friendly, answered all our questions and brought us our food on time. The washroom walls could have been given a better clean but overall we enjoyed our stay. We also loved how exclusive the beach was.

Liked: Staff & service
Rooms are very old, the shower has no water pressure at all and it’s hard to shower with the two drops of water that come out.
Food is good. It’s right next to the beach and has plenty of hammocks to relax and enjoy the breeze. They don’t clean the rooms on a daily basis unless you ask for it and leave the room key at the front.
The hotel did not advise they are under construction.
**The shower drain was clogged up, takes about 1 hour to have 3 adults shower completed** (STAY AWAY FROM ROOM 16)
1 roach walking in my room.
Service was pretty decent. Most everything was ok but be aware, don't take showers in the room and don't expect much of a room with insects (possibly rodents)

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Property is undergoing major renovations. The rooms are small there’s not refrigerator or even a coffee maker to have a morning cup of coffee on the balcony. Limited storage which made it hard with a toddler. The staff for the most part was attentive. I wish they would have told us to leave the key so our room could be cleaned. We came back from a day out and our room was not cleaned. They took care of it but it was kits inconvenient
So it seems like the pictures posted are extremely outdated. The hotel and pool area is in dire need of an upgrade. It’s a shame because the view from the upper deck eating area is nice but the wood framing needs some work (enough to say that there are mushrooms growing out of the wood). Service I will so tho was great. They were extremely attentive. All in all, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
Very lovely small hotel! Took one step on the property and they were very eager to help us. The vibes were great and the rooms were good! Obviously the hotel wont be anything like in the states but it was a very comfortable room with the basic nessities. Comfy beds, ac, water, and best of all....insect free!
I love the hamaock and ocean view seating area. The food was amazing as well. The price was reasonable and the stay came with access to their pools and picnic canopys.
My favorite part has to be how flexiable they are. We couldnt stay for their free breakfast, since we had to leave for the airport around 5.30 am. They assured us someone would be out their that time to let us out. And fair enough, they did! The fellow was even helping us load our baggages in our car.
They didnt have anyone on the property until 7am but they went far and beyond to make sure our stay was GOOD.
All in all, definitely coming back to stay here when i come and visit again!
The worst. Hotel and room I have ever been and seen! Bed mattress was broken, shower drain plugged, no towels, door to patio didn’t work, smelled dirty, we lost out money because we went and got another hotel
Pictures do not match the hotel at all. Room was dirty, outdated and very cheap looking, unlike the photos online. The walls were filthy, cob webs in all the corners and bugs on the ground. I’m truly not a complainer or one to write a bad review, but this spot would be over priced in my home country (Canada). It was truly disappointing and spoiled the night for us. The pool and hangout area was also dirty and took away from the beauty of the Salvadorian beach. I recommend staying anywhere else. We got out as soon as we could.
