Casa Magna Panama

"Everything was great, and my family will surely stay there again when we visit Las Tablas. After staying in many hotels in town over the years, Magna has to be the best hotel at a competitive price. Being overly critical, the bathroom sink and shower needed towels to help soak up some water leaks. We just did not use the water at full blast to solve the issue."

"Hotel is a little rundown but they were making repairs. Our room was comfortable AC worked great, breakfast was nice and the pool was wonderful. The staff was kind and helpful but services were only available if you asked. For example; website says daily housekeeping. When we asked why our room wasn’t cleaned they said we didn’t ask for it. We had the only key to the room so they couldn’t clean unless we gave them the key. We couldn’t check in because they didn’t have power in the office. They asked us every day to go check in but when we tried they said “later”. We ended up checking in and out on the same day. (Not a problem for us.) They couldn’t provide a printout of charges. Sweet people but the place is a bit disorganized. We enjoyed our time there because it was quiet and peaceful. Very few people were there which we liked. We live in Panama so we’re use to things very relaxed and off beat. If you’re looking for a 5 star resort with lots of services this isn’t it. If you want beauty, peace and quiet among friendly staff in a beautiful setting and don’t mind quirky and rustic THIS IS IT! This met our expectations so we will be back!"

"We stayed at the Condos, very clean, spacious, well mantained, comfortable. A little too far from the main hotel and restaurant, i recommend to have a car if staying there. Staff VERY nice and helpful."

"What a wonderful hidden gem. A beautiful place with birds singing, friendly dogs and cats. The place is clean and comfortable and bonus breakfast with hot coffee delivered to your door. This truly is a gem. Totally recommend a stay here."
