"Lovely view of the swimming pool and lake. Very quiet. A nice place to relax after busy Barcelona. Good breakfast. The half board dinner menu seemed traditional Spanish, so a bit difficult to work out for the non-adventurous eater. We managed to choose items more to our taste on the second night, but would have struggled if we had stayed three nights (the menu was the same every night). Minor niggles were conditioner dispenser empty in the shower (replaced when we pointed it out), and AC made the room a bit too cold (couldn't change temperature, so turned it off until needed again). The good points far outweighed the bad, I would stay there again."
"The hotel, room and location are beautiful. The property itself is spacious, comfortable and the interior design reflects the surrounding area and vibe quite well without being gimmicky. The owner was there to greet us when we arrived and give us a little tour. We did get the impression that it's not currently being run as a "full time" operation because we were the only guests and never saw any other staff apart for the nice lady serving us breakfast. Speaking of which - the owner asked what time we wanted breakfast when he checked us in and we gave a time. But was very nice, particularly for local standards. "Room as expected clean but basic. Perhaps could have been better. Shower over bath no plug if you wanted a bath. Instructions for air conditioning would’ve have been helpful as we couldn’t figure how to turn off the first night. We were not alone.
Restaurant good but lacked vegetarian options but staff were helpful only eat there two nights. Breakfast was good.
Staff on reception were very helpful to find our way round taxis or buses to get to where we wanted.
Spa was excellent and a must visit if staying here."
