"★★★★★ Casa de Campo is truly a beautiful and exceptional resort. The property is stunning, elegant, and very well maintained, with wonderful service, gorgeous surroundings, and a peaceful yet luxurious atmosphere. It is a perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and spend quality time with family. The only suggestion I would make is to include more vegetarian meal options in the restaurants, especially dishes with plant-based protein. That would make the dining experience even more inclusive and complete. Overall, a wonderful stay and a place I would happily recommend."

"Everything was excellent, except for two things… in a moment I had to wait for to long to get new towels when I requested it, and paying for breakfast when description said it was “included” at the moment we reserved the stay was a little uncomfortable."

"The hotel is great. Rooms (I had 2) were big and spacious. Bathroom (my room) was súper little and very unconfortable position of the toilet. Actually it was hard to find because the name of the hotel and the location doesn’t Match. This is la romana cernter but the real name is hotel Frano. We found it because of the pics in the reservation not because of the address. Besides that everything was good."

"Best hotel in La Romana! VERY SAFE inside hotel for a solo female traveler. Great owners. Very clean, amazing housekeeper. Brand new tiles in bathroom, beautiful! Well-equipped room with table, luggage rack, phone charger,TV, excellent wifi, ac, hot water. Excellent service! On a main street, ate delicious shrimp at a restaurant next door, small grocery only a few blocks away, accessible by public transit, aka la gua gua"

"Playa Catalina Hotel really surprised me in the best way. It gives you that Punta Cana vibe but in a more local, peaceful area. The beach is just a 5‑minute walk, and having a pool available 24/7 was perfect. The rooms look like little villas — super cute and cozy. What made the stay unforgettable was the staff. I traveled with my elderly dad, and they treated him with so much care. They helped him with his bags, supported him on the stairs, and always checked in on us. Even the security team was friendly and helpful. Everyone there makes you feel like family. I’m so grateful for this experience and will surely make this my go-to hotel in the future. For travelers they only accept cash, so be prepared or call ahead. They have an ATM and can accommodate. They also serve breakfast too, would recommend if you like to have a light breakfast. If not there’s plenty of local restaurants nearby."

"The room was what we needed to spend a night after a concert in Altos de Chavón: a clean room, hot shower in a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. The hotel is next to the street and we could hear a dog barking and the siren of an ambulance during the night."
