"The area looked beautiful in photos but it really was not feeling safe. We had an overnight before cruise and mainly just stayed in the room. The beach was lovely but we didn’t feel comfortable eating anywhere near this small hotel no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up stairs to higher floors. No where close to get a coffee in the morning."

"No one on staff spoke English. The hotel is very dated and unkempt. There were several power outages in the 16 hours we were there."

"It’s a budget hotel with no amenities. However what is lacking in luxury is far outweighed by the awesome staff there. It’s very safe and right in town. "

"We were transferred to another property by the owner as it was 1 night stay before a boarding a cruise. The apartment was clean but not near to food places. The breakfast was brought to us in a grocery bag for us to make ourselves. Would NOT be visiting ever again. Dominican republic is also very expressive for tourists they extort you every chance they get "

"We were excited to stay here but it felt very disappointing. At first, the entrance and parking were so hard to find. Then they didn’t know we were arriving. The very nice and polite young lady called the owner while we waited. We were offered a beverage (recommended by her) which we gratefully accepted. We knew there was a welcome drink provided and really, for the delay we should have been provided one. But surprisingly we were charged with the explanation that she was new, our room was...
