The staff were wonderful the hot water was steaming and strong. Nice breakfast to be had, delicious cakes and pastries.

It is a very basic old-fashioned hotel. The staff however are very helpful. The restaurant isnt bad but the ambiance is ruined by the incredible brightness of the room. Breakfast isnt bad.

small hotel, double beds, or single twins beds, warm but not hot water in bathroom shower, small rooms.. very comfortable beds.. dated furniture, food in the dining room passable but not great.. only instant coffee for breakfast.. not brewed..

Better than expected

The hotel is on the edge of the old city of La Serena but was generally quiet (except for the Saturday night when a function downstairs went on until at least 4AM). The hotel is under major renovation and work seemed to be going on everywhere. My room was newly renovated and quite nice. Parking was secure. The restuarant was adequate but not inspiring. There are few restaurants in the old city open in the evening; everything is at the beach a couple of kilometres away.
