Visiting Labuan Bajo to do the tour of Komodo Island, the hotel is convenient and very comfortable. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are very clean and modern (many have views of the harbor), and there is a market on the ground floor for any of your last minute needs.

Nice staff great service

The staff at the hotel were very nice. In room massages are available and very competitively priced. There is a supermarket on the ground floor which is well stocked.

Great and convenient location for the hotel. Rooms are simple but comfortable. Very friendly staff, specially Aldo who was our driver to pick us up at the airport and check us in. It also has supermarket and pharmacy. Breakfast is another great feature.

Our experience at Zasgo Hotel was overwhelmingly positive from the moment we checked in. We were welcomed by the impeccable Adi, who not only gave us all the information about the hotel, but also, at our request, booked a boat tour for the next morning to Komodo National Park (due to the delay of our plane we arrived at the hotel almost at dinner time). While Adì answered our questions, Elisa and Hendra entertained our daughter who was waiting for us to finish checking in. The very friendly Aldo accompanied us to our room. Our family room was spacious, the beds very comfortable, and the view from the balcony amazing. The location of the hotel is ideal for reaching the centre of town and several restaurants where we could dine. The swimming pool at sunset is undoubtedly a plus, as is the friendly staff who are super helpful in resolving any customer requests. The supermarket below the hotel is an added convenience

The hotel is really nice… the swimming pool is the best part. Excellent view and the bar right in there. The room was spacious and from previous reviews we thought the bathroom would be small, but not at all. The only 2 bad things are the internet that drops every 2 minutes and the menu options are very poor. And the food is not really good and expensive for what it is, we even got upset stomach after eating.

Awesome stay

Amazing stay again as we loved it so much the first time we had to return. Great rooftop pool area to watch the sunset and just hang out. Breakfast great. Rooms comfortable and staff friendly. By far the cleanest place I’ve stayed in Indonesia, not a bug in sight!!

I liked that we had an interior room and could not hear 0430 prayers. The pool took our breath away. Food at the pool was good. At breakfast they should pay more attention to when items are gone. I left some trays open on a few different days so they could see they were empty and they just closed them.

We stayed in the triple room that overlooked the pool. We had an amazing view of the sunset each day. We were able to walk to find dinner. They had a really good market in their basement for snacks and whatnot. The pool was great. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Very simple but has all you need for a short stay in Labuan Bajo. Only complain is that you are not allowed to take the pool towels for your day trip to Komodo Island. Other than that it is great, staff is friendly and rooms are clean.

We received a very warm welcome, but were then informed about a number of things we were not allowed to do in the room. To our great delight, we were upgraded to the suite on the 8th floor, which was very spacious and offered a sensational view. Very nice and large pool with swim-up bar. The staff were extremely friendly, whether housekeeping (Rosi and Teresa) or the waiters at the pool or in the restaurant. Unfortunately, several items from the menu were not available. The breakfast was very Asian-oriented and unfortunately not vegan-friendly. The supermarket on the first floor of the hotel was a real plus. The location is very good, close to the airport and close to the restaurants and stores in town.

Satisfaction

We stayed for 3 nights at Zasgo. We used 3-man room. Completely satisfied with their service. Delicious breakfeast, good view from our balcony and from their restaurant. The condition of the hotel is still top since they opened in 2023. Very friendly and helpful staff. The location of Zasgo hotel is perfect. Zasgo mart is just at the basement. The hotel is located in the same building with Labuhan Square (shops, restaurants and game center for kids). We recommend this hotel for your stay in Labuhan Bajo.

Below expectation

Thw Hotel is disappointing, there were few points deserves a comment. Internet doesnt work, I stayed two nights: first before the island boat tour and onother night after. Two different rooms on different floors, neither I had internet connection. Hot water wasn't available also and the bathroom very small. The small room doesn’t have windows, but lots of mosquitos and no eletronic repelent. Breakfast place has an amazing view, but omelet station doesn't take note, therefore, very unorganized and difficult to get your order.

The room and bathroom itself was nice however quite dark. Shower was really good when it was hot but temperamental - hot water must be on limit so varies when it comes There were ants everywhere - on the floor some but most on the counter table in bedroom so wouldn't recommend leaving any food or drink out. No welcome drinks as stated in booking confirmation - we asked about it and they said it wasn't made so will give the next day but they never did. Not the hotels fault but the guests staying here can be really really loud - had to call security at 1.30am on one night to tell them to shut up. The pool view for sunset is incredible - they give towels, the water is clean. I would still book at this hotel again in future as for the price it was still nice

This hotel was everything we needed. We were contacted prior to arrival regarding whether we needed transport from the airport which was good. However, when we arrived at, there was no one there to pick us up. We contacted the hotel who told us there was someone already there, but we had waited for nearly 20 minutes and no one turned up so we got a taxi which was far easier and cheaper. Generally, staff were friendly and helped where they could, such as providing a breakfast box in the morning since we left very early for a tour. The rooms were very spacious, but the air con was pretty weak meaning it was still relatively warm in the rooms. The fridge was also not on when we arrived, which would have helped for water. The hotel did have a restaurant with a stunning view and a pool with a lovely bar looking out to the harbour. However, this got fully very quickly due do it not offering much seating compared to the number of rooms.
