"My wife and I traveled to Galena to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. The weather was perfect for spending a few days there, and the Steamboat House was ideal, thanks to its location, aesthetics, and amenities. We both have gluten allergies, and while I forgot to mention this in our reservation, Carol, the innkeeper, was incredibly helpful in providing gluten-friendly breakfast options, which made our stay feel even more special. "Only thing was that we believed the carriage house had 1 room turned out it had at least 3 rooms with guest. They could pay more attention to details. Holes in wall and ceiling of bathroom needed to be addressed before renting out."

"Far beyond what we anticipated. Warmly greeted and show to our room. Top line toiletries and added touches. Yes our room was small but well appointed and we did not plan to spend much time in the room. Wine and cheese at 5:30. 3-course breakfast at 8:30 am. Amazing! Will be back!"
