"Location and beach are great"

"The room was very clean. The staff was helpful in fixing a problem with the room safe. There was a free buffet breakfast as part of our reservation, which included bread, rice, eggs, cereal and juices. The hotel is about a 9 minute walk from the beach (slight incline walking back to the hotel). Small pool and bar on top of hotel. We stayed four nights and would recommend staying that length of time."

"It was a beautiful little villa that me and my fiance stayed at for a week. Absolutely loved it, how it looked and was set up to the private pool. the communication with the staff was amazing, fast response to any needs or concerns that we had was taken care of. "

"The room was big, good shower with hot water, mini fridge in room and bottled water, our room view was amazing. A short tuk tuk ride to food places, close to the boat tours. Breakfast was just ok. The front desk tried quoting me triple the price I was told to get to the airport. I would stay here again. "

"The old owners, Rosie and Kev fantastic there was no beach it was idyllic but the ocean is up to the boundary walls. Low tide is just okay."

"lovely, authentic place located in beautiful nature surroundings on the top of the hill (mind there are a lot of steps to get up there, although worth it). Walkable distance (1 km ) from the Vanilla beach , were all main amenities such as ATM, shops and restaurants are available. Overall great place and definitely would recommend it."

"Only positive thing would be the view of the ocean. Aside from that, nothing else went okay. Electricity was out for 75% of the time I was there. Rooms smell like mold. No hot water. Staff was very slow and seemed confused all of the time. Food took forever to make. It was difficult to arrive and leave the hotel due to high tide. Would have to get soaked in the water. "
