"I had an extended layover. This hotel is very close to the airport. Though a bit noisy outside, accommodations were beautiful. The food was tasty, and the pool area was really nice as well. It’s a great selection for one or two nights. I wouldn’t recommend a longer day, simply due to the traffic noise. I was able to cope just from zoning out into the hum of my air conditioner. Of course, when you vacation, you don’t stay in the hotel room all day and traffic noise is lighter at night. So go out and enjoy! Joygate is an excellent choice. Hoping they have a property in Abuja as well."

"The hotel is nice, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The bed mattress is extremely hard and uncomfortable and they don’t have a top sheet. The kitchenette is under equipped and needs to have basics for at least 2 people…not 1 plate, 1 bowl, 1 glass, etc. There is no vanity space in the bathroom and the toilets are extremely low profile. The staff were super nice and always tried to be helpful. My husband enjoyed the breakfast each morning and said there was a good variety of food to select from."
