"Loved being so close to Tikal. Rooms were clean, staff super nice, good food at kitchen, pool was great at the end of the hot day (warm water from the sun so not refreshingly cool but good). Electricity limited - bring uSB plugs (no USB-C ports) - but they will charge devices in the office if you ask. Very few food options nearby but hotel restaurant was very good. Fav: burrito. No AC, ceiling fan only. I opened all windows and propped bathroom door open to get a small cross breeze but nights are still warm. Overall I would choose to stay her every time over the commute to Flores. Just past Jaguar Inn."
"Our stay was beyond great! It was amazingly beautiful, fun, and peaceful!!! The staff is the nicest, most accommodating, and friendly!! The food is fresh and SO DELICIOUS!! Highly recommend this hotel!!!
Our favorite? Pool, lake, howling monkeys, spider monkeys, the food, our bungalow… literally everything!!! "
"I loved this stay. It’s located in the jungle of Tikal and you can watch monkeys climb in the trees while enjoying dinner in a place that feels like an adventure. The restaurant and facilities are very attractive and exciting. You are in the jungle so there are bugs and critters, but the hotel is clean and comfortable and feels like an archaeological expedition with a bar. The staff are excellent and I’d like to leave a special shoutout to Braner at the front desk. He was great! The food is a bit expensive and subpar but the opportunity to wake up and explore the ancient Mayan city of Tikal is unforgettable. Truly a once in a lifetime excursion. "
"This property is in the park and so you can get to the entrance by 6am when they open. The grounds are lovely as you are in the tropical forest. The first night we were there we heard howler monkeys close by and saw a Toucan (wild) and many birds. The hotel is supposedly run entirely on solar power, although that’s not something I could verify. But kudos to them. The room was very spacious for my son and I and so was the bathroom. The second night a troop of spider monkeys went by. What more can you ask for? There’s no air conditioning and you can’t use hairdryers due to the energy consumption, but I don’t use a hair dryer anyway and there’s an overhead fan and they will bring you a second one if you ask, which we did, because it was a particularly hot week. We were comfortable. The hotel’s restaurant will take cards, but the other one close by will not. Bring quetzales! You need cash for certain things simply because you are in the park and there’s no ATM around. The staff were all friendly and professional. It’s a beautiful setting. I would definitely return here in a heartbeat! "
