"The room was small. But with a full kitchen and queen bed it was crowded but over all was OK, for just 2 nights. The bath room door was very hard to close and warped badly."

"We were driving from Nevada to Homer and chose the Pioneer because it was on the edge of town and had parking outside the room. It was clean and quiet. Nothing fancy but just what we were looking for. Rated staff at 3 only because we never saw or interacted with staff. We cam i. Around 5pm and there was an envelope with our key cards awaiting us. Restaurant and coffee shops within a 5 minute walk. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Great motel for our purposes."

"The hotel was lovely- right on a beautiful lake- and all of the rooms have a patio or deck off of the room that looks onto the lake! The room was clean, and it was handy to have a microwave and refrigerator. Our only complaint was that the bathtub was very slippery! But we had a great stay & I would highly recommend the property! Thank you!"

"When we checked in there was no one at front desk. Rooms were larger than standard hotel room, more like a studio apartment. Air Conditioner was a portable unit running outside through sliding door but worked ok. Location in downtown Palmer is great."
