"The bed at this hotel was very comfortable. If I could replicate the mattress for my bed at home I would!! It was Sunday morning and very crowded downstairs in the breakfast area. It appeared that there was only one staff member working, and she was working very hard to replenish things (scrambled eggs, bacon, coffee, hot water) as needed. But she could barely keep up with the demand. A second staff member to work the breakfast would be helpful."

"My family and I loved our stay at the Hotel Thayer. The accommodations were excellent as was the location. We dined at the Zulu restaurant overlooking the Hudson and the Patton restaurant. We enjoyed both our meals. We toured West Point and took in the sites of the Hudson Valley. We would definitely return to this hotel. My only complaint was that breakfast was not included in our stay, something I always enjoy."
