Our room was beautiful. The fireplace was electric but high quality. Loved sipping my coffee on the balcony, watching the sunrise, wrapped in a blanket at the end of October. Kayaks, s’mores, and jetted tub were also great. Fun having a choice of outdoor fireplaces & pits for a cozy evening cuddle. Breakfast was yummy and served where you wanted it (including in room). Only sad thing was the hot tub was not working when we visited.

This property is a piece of art. The service, the view the staff are amazing and so kind and nice. They have variety of breakfast ideas and they have a special style in how they serve the food. Everything is clean the rooms the lobby. Beautiful place for relaxing and enjoy the nature.

Hidden gem in the Adirondacks.

The Fern Lodge was a delightful experience from start to finish. The host was so friendly and accommodating, and she made our anniversary special in many ways. The property had more accommodations than we had time to enjoy - made us wish we had booked more time at The Fern Lodge. I guess we’ll just have to return!

Arrived at 7pm and left at 6am. I had no interaction from the Lodge. Although quiet and peaceful. I felt somewhat insecure, unablento have dinner. The next morning I grabbed a coffee around 6am. I saw no personnel thru my short 12 hours of stay and had no way or nowhere to dine or breakfast due to my arrival and departure time.

If I could give 50 stars i would. I had read the previous raving reviews and confirm...noone was exaggerating. This is a family run lodge with all the personal touches that only families can give. The pictures on the website don't do it justice because its the FEEL of the place and people working there that make this lodging experience so special. What u don't see on the site are small yet significant touches and I will name a few. The rooms are airy and calming. There are 5 rooms (i believe) with individual names. Me and my husband stayed in the cedar room. U can see that someone put their heart and sole into its decor, with high vaulted ceilings, small wood carved trinkets, a large screened in porch with fire pit, a fridge stocked with plastic water bottles, a huge steam shower and jacuzzi, bad sheets that were so comfortable that I actually went online and purchased a set for myself. I don't remember sleeping so soundly. The lodge sits on a pristine lake with kayaks and paddle boards provided. Everywhere u turn, there's another sitting area that faces the lake. Breakfast...amazing, prepared for according to your preferences. And downstairs, a game room with a bar for ordering drinks and even a large movie theatre with lazyboys. They even provide a microwave and popcorn bags...I could go on and on but simply said, I am so glad that I found this place. Hats off to the owners, innkeeper, cook and staff that gave us such a memorable summer holiday. Thank u fern lodge

Very unique and beautiful guest rooms. The balcony overlooking the lake was fantastic. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. Friendly and accommodating service with a delicious breakfast. We cannot wait to go back.

A special place

This place feels like a home, only 5 rooms in a private lake. Our room was huge and even had a fireplace. It is nestled in a beautiful forest, so plenty of places for hiking.

May e replace the hair dryer in the cedar room. It’s pretty beat. Though the room was amazing like all the rest it was a bit annoying to hear everyone downstairs due to the French door in the room.
