"Quaint New England feel that you will not get with modern chain hotels. Plenty of amenities and very accommodating and friendly staff. They will catch the next elevator or walk the stairs even if you let them know its ok to share the elevator. Only difficult part was walking the hill to our room after having one too many. Very walkable to all the restaurants and pubs. "

"My wife and I spent 2 nights at Cadence Lodge. We had an excellent meal there the first night. We viewed the property and it's facilities and we're very impressed. The room was clean, comfortable and in good working order. We liked the Ski themed decorations in our room. The lodge offers a gas outdoor grill, a wonderful enclosed patio with power, water and a built in fireplace. You could bring your own steaks, cook them and eat outdoors. Staff there is friendly and accommodating to your needs....

"The room was clean and modern feeling. Washroom was good with amenities, shower had good pressure, tv with Netflix. Also walking distance to main street in Lake placid was convenient so I didn't have to drive and pay for parking. Check in instructions were sent to me in advance and easy to get into the room. Would recommend!"

"Great property, but we didn’t realize it was up on a hill above the town so the lake view is from a bit away and only visible from the upper floors and rooms not blocked by trees. We were drawn to the local sites being walkable; however, again with the hill it was absolutely walkable for some but due to health issues, not us. We had to drive downtown and find parking and then drive back up to the hotel at the end of the day. The dinner menu is limited but the portions are generous. The staff...

"This property is very nicely decorated. It is in walking distance to all of the cute shops and restaurants downtown. The parking is convenient and the staff was helpful and pleasant. The room is lovely! We would recommend and would return. "

"It was in a decent spot in the middle of town for a good price. The room was practically sparkling. The staff was really friendly and on top of that they give away cookies as a courtesy. Would easily stay here again!"
