"The owner was my guardian angel and I'm so grateful for him! !! I got left in Lake Placid during a bus trip to Niagaa Falls and I ended up in the ER for 12 hours. I ended up being stuck in town with no ride and the only bus route for the weekend wouldve been a 20 hour ride for 4 hrs of distance. I had no money until I got paid the following day. He gave me the room until my check hit the bank which was so kind of him!! Most people wouldn't have hltthe chance"

"The room was very spacious and had a separate bedroom. One of my only issues was the TV. They have no channel guide so you don't know the channel you are on until you search. Also the channel didn't tell you the name of the show. Strange with the type of services available yoday. The restaurant food was expensive and not that good."

"Overall a very good 2-day stay. Check‐in was ok. The elevators were out of order. So we had to use the service elevators. But the check-in itself was very easy. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to provide great service. We had a room on Main street. So it was a bit noise, especially when the garbage truck picked up garbage. I suggest trying to get a room on the parking lot side. The location was great- near everything!"
