"The staff was truly remarkable. We were instantly relaxed. Our bags were in our room before we were. Snacks in the room, a well stocked fridge with water and juice. A lovely bottle of wine. Amazing breakfast included and brought to the room in baskets. When we checked out, the staff got our luggage, brought our car around, had bottled water ready for us and warmed up the car - all with smiles. And the bar staff - great drinks and very heavy pours with the wine :)"

"Quaint New England feel that you will not get with modern chain hotels. Plenty of amenities and very accommodating and friendly staff. They will catch the next elevator or walk the stairs even if you let them know its ok to share the elevator. Only difficult part was walking the hill to our room after having one too many. Very walkable to all the restaurants and pubs. "

"We booked the suite since we were a group of 5. The suite had 3 rooms so we would have been quite comfortable but due to change of plans it was just us 3. The hosts were warm and welcoming when they greeted us. Breakfast was lovely each morning, and they provided helpful suggestions for sightseeing. Je ne comprends pas quel aurait été notre déjeuner si on l’avait pris dans le forfait, car il n’y avait qu’un menu à la carte. Bon service au bar Déçu que le roof top était fermé le jeudi soir de notre passage. "The room was clean and modern feeling. Washroom was good with amenities, shower had good pressure, tv with Netflix. Also walking distance to main street in Lake placid was convenient so I didn't have to drive and pay for parking. Check in instructions were sent to me in advance and easy to get into the room. Would recommend!"
