"Great property, but we didn’t realize it was up on a hill above the town so the lake view is from a bit away and only visible from the upper floors and rooms not blocked by trees. We were drawn to the local sites being walkable; however, again with the hill it was absolutely walkable for some but due to health issues, not us. "My wife and I spent 2 nights at Cadence Lodge. We had an excellent meal there the first night. We viewed the property and it's facilities and we're very impressed. The room was clean, comfortable and in good working order. We liked the Ski themed decorations in our room. The lodge offers a gas outdoor grill, a wonderful enclosed patio with power, water and a built in fireplace. You could bring your own steaks, cook them and eat outdoors. Staff there is friendly and accommodating to your needs....

"It was in a decent spot in the middle of town for a good price. The room was practically sparkling. The staff was really friendly and on top of that they give away cookies as a courtesy. Would easily stay here again!"

"We booked the suite since we were a group of 5. The suite had 3 rooms so we would have been quite comfortable but due to change of plans it was just us 3. The hosts were warm and welcoming when they greeted us. Breakfast was lovely each morning, and they provided helpful suggestions for sightseeing.
