"Gorgeous view and location. Was unaware that the restaurant was closed due to flooding which was inconvenient as when we booked it said that the restaurant was still operational. Everything was a bit run down but clean and smelled great. Shower appeared to be a bit dirty around the edges and sink took a while to drain and toilet didn't flush well. "We stayed in a cabin withy ensuite, it was perfect. Nice and clean, adequate heating for the cold evenings and nights. The beds were comfy. The wee kitchen had a two hotplate and a microwave. The bench space was a bit squishy for everything but you just made it work. There was a bait station opposite our cabin which is very useful and we used it. The locality of the site is great near all the Rotorua lakes and handy to the city also"
