Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe - A Caesars Rewards Destination

8/10 Good

"Lots of construction still going on. I find it hard to understand paying a resort fee when the pool is under construction and the sister property (Harrahs) pool is not heated and the jacuzzi was not working. Sports Book was a TV on a tripod and a portable kiosk. Staff was tremendous and very helpful. Sunset dinner at the Sage Room was amazing. Pay attention to the self parking fee and valet fee. I’m not sure why these aren’t spelled out for the consumer, as the vast majority are visitors and drove to Tahoe."

"Me and my family had a little getaway and decided to stay here due to the great reviews. This place did not disappoint! Check in was fast and easy. Front desk was very friendly! Loved the complimentary drinks! They have a restaurant on the property which was nice. We also enjoyed the pool! Will definitely stay here again!"

"The room has a bathroom door that was impossible to close, so it remained halfway open. We called for towels and waited over an hour for the delivery. Restaurants were few and the Saltgrass was not good and wait staff even more useless. Not even a single bottle of lotion in the bathroom. I would not recommend this hotel or use it again."

"What ever you do, do not stay in room 224A or B. Industrial fan low frequency hmmm. So bad it would open the blackout curtains. Staff very disingenuous. Take your money type of location. I am a Hilton hotel honors member and this service was average on its best day. I'm sure it tough to find good staff."

"Unfortunately the photos on the book site do not truly look like the rooms. The hot tub Was dated, tiny and dirty. The site does not mention that the fire places do not generate heat and have an error message the whole time. The front desk staff was extremely passive aggressive and borderline rude. She wasn’t very clear about the directions of our room and when asked a second time for directions, she was very snarky. The breakfast was mediocre and cheap. For the price we paid, including parking- save yourself and just book Marriott or anywhere else for better service and overall experience. The only reason we stay is because we already paid and the room was surprisingly extremely clean. Outside of that, not worth the money especially if the front desk isn’t kind. The furnace is also extremely loud when it kicks on randomly at night and you can hear everything in the hallway"
