Forest Suites is a beautiful and cozy stay in the South Lake Tahoe area. What really made our experience great here was the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. They were extremely helpful and engaged throughout our entire stay. Only downside was some of the room appliances could be updated but they had everything we needed. We would definitely come back if we make our way back to Heavenly Village.

The room has a smell, like an old house smell. My kids said, it smelled like broccoli. Lol. Anyway, the area is very convenient. The room is very spacious. It is a complete setup for the family. We would love to stay again.

The rooms are very big, clean; Kitchen is pretty good with all necessary items in place, fridge is huge. The breakfast which is included is pretty good; Parking fee is very reasonable; Best location for everything: shopping, sightseeing, eating, playing, etc. Only problems are air conditioner is old and noisy, and the elevators are too old and small. Overall speaking, it’s a pretty good hotel at very reasonable price.

The check in staff was great and kind. The overall stay was ok but not a place I will be returning to. The property is old and the furniture is old and very uncomfortable. They give you slippers with ear plugs and after staying there I realize why. Those walls are so super thin you can hear everyone and their mamas. So yeah the great is location but you will give up quietness and a good night's sleep.

Outdoor pool was close to my room. The propane grill around the pool was prepaired for free when I reserved. Our family had a great time there. Heating was not strong enough but noisy to warm the living room.

The location of the property was right under the gondola ride and just in the center of everything. Easy to walk and close to shopping and eating. The property was older and could use some updating but I know that takes money. We did enjoy the stay overall.
