"On the positive side, the location was great, the room was comfortable and the two bathrooms were very convenient. On the other hand, of the five nights we stayed, the room was partially cleaned only on the first night. The bed was made and towels changed however they left the dirty coffee cups, didn’t replenish the coffee, didn’t clean the floors or wipe down the surfaces. The next day the room wasn’t cleaned so we asked for more towels and coffee. The third day, again, no cleaning so we called...

"The AC in the room was not working and we kept calling but nobody picked up! The call was on hold and there was no one at the reception. When it was Hard Rock Cafe the service was much better! Not booking this again!"

"The property is great. It’s clean and at a good location. The stuff at the check in center is not too friendly. The big change from two years ago is that they charge $30 for parking and valet parking only. It’s not convenient at all."

"Woman at the front desk possibly the owner was absolutely amazing. We got there a bit early and without questions she gave us the keys to our room. She was so friendly. "The location is perfect in Tahoe City, right across the street from The Commons. It was close to great food, drinks and bakery’s. I stayed in room 8, which was on the top floor. The room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable and of high quality. I slept really well and it was very quiet. I appreciated the shampoo, body lotion and conditioner. The thing I DIDNT LIKE was the check in process. I sent them 3 texts asking them how I check in with no response. I later found 4 emails from them...

"The Hotel, Restaurant, Bar and other amenities were great. However, the very best part was the staff, who were ALL exceptional-plus!! It was truly remarkable how genuinely friendly and helpful the staff members were. We even found the exceptionally friendly service in many of the other venues that we visited nearby. A fabulous few days in North Lake Tahoe that we plan to experience again."

"The front desk was helpful. Ordered food from the room and waited to be notified to pick it up, after two hours and no call I went over there to Harras which is the sister property. They didn’t know what happened and didn’t have my order. They refunded and took new order. When I arrived at the room to eat it they didn’t put utensils. I had to go back and get utensils from the front desk who located some for me. I finally got back to the room and the food was cold and there’s no way to heat it...

"The rooms were dirty and run-down"

"Perfect location, in the valley next to a golf course, with a chair lift to palisades. The scenery is spectacular."

"Liked the spacious spa and shower combo in the cabin room I stayed. Location is very good. McDonald and IHOP is only a few steps outside. You can walk to the Marina for boat ride, nice restaurants or just to enjoy the scenery. Free bike is a bonus if you can use it. Comfortable lounge provides coffee in the morning. You can chat with other travelers if you are social."
