There are a variety of rooms ranging from extremely small to multi-room with living space. Our room with a king bed was the former. We felt like superman in a telephone booth. Smaller than some cruiseship rooms and we were not happy. Needless to say, make sure you are aware.

Haka House Lake Tekapo
Beautiful view from kitchen but everything else was awful. Never been so hot in a dorm. Why air conditioning in the whole hostel but not the rooms? No towel included. And one of the 2 fridges was out so groceries stuffed in one fridge. Super expensive.

Lakes Edge Holiday Park
Very good facility. Excellent staff. Very nice unit and well presented and organized. Good views and overall a place I will come back too again.
