"Lovely tucked away dog friendly accommodation in a pleasant village location. The annexe was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Booked this on the day due to being let down with our previous booking. Michelle and Mark were very helpful and saved our trip. Would definitely recommend. "

"Stayed for two nights at The Stratford Apartments. On the good side, it was spacious and had a good size shower. The beds and furniture were all comfortable. On the down side it smelt really quite damp and there were some amazing cobwebs in the bathroom. Great for short stays, location was excellent. It suited our needs but wouldn't like to stay longer. "I booked this property because it acepts dogs. When I arrived the owner was quite horrible with me about my dog. Apparently you need to state about your dog coming even though the website doesn't state that! Poor communication and as a paying customer I was put off by the owners attitudes "

"Easy to find,short(ish) walk into town,quiet hotel (at least where we slept)nice breakfast facilities a "help yourself" didn't have an evening meal as we ate in town (plenty to choose from)if you didn't want a drink in the hotel bar there's a pub across the road "The Tollgate" plenty of outside seating and food available.A pleasant stay for our weekend."

"Great location for our East Anglia base. Service was excellent and the staff very helpful. We stayed in the new wing which is spotless albeit spartan. Would be nice to have a micro and fridge. I didn’t play golf but think the management could put some investment towards course improvements. Someone told me there’s a focus on wedding bookings. I would say that marketing as a golf resort would compliment the wedding business nicely. In order to do this you have to have a really nice course and avoid negative reviews for golf."

"The area was lovely, we walked around and explored the park and streets alike. We hadn’t realised the dads army connection, which was a lovely discovery. Unfortunately at night we were disturbed by loud noises from people nearby the property and obviously outside of your control."

"The room was clean and everything worked. Hotel located near cathedral and shops. Staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was very nice with quality ingredients and good choice. Small parking area which was full but there is a car park nearby which is free for 2 hours. Would stay again"
