"This is a no frills hotel. With that in mind, the kitchenette was wonderful, with a full size refrigerator and great ice maker. However, there is not a table with chairs to eat on. There is a chair at the desk which allows one person to eat comfortably. The bathroom is a nice size with shelves to keep your bathroom items on. There is a huge 3 drawer dresser for clothes as well as an open closet for your hanging items. The hotel has snacks, drinks and a laundry room for additional costs. The...

"The hotel was amazing and smelled like a 5-star property. It was probably one of the best-smelling hotels I have ever stayed at. The only issues I experienced were seeing a couple of ants in the bathroom throughout my stay, the sink water pressure was very low, and there was no hand soap bottle—only a bar of soap. Other than that, my stay was excellent."

The outside of the place had homeless peole wandering around including by the motion sensor door that got the bouncer looking dude up to follow him. "McMenamins Edgefield is an experience, and we've stayed there a number of times. The rooms, for the most part, are from another era (it used to be the county "poor farm"), but the grounds are spectacular, the heated outdoor pool is stunning at night. "Unless you’re very desperate for a room i would keep driving. Absolutely filthy room. I used towels on the floor to walk from the bathroom to the bed and I used hand towels on the vanity to cover the surface. The smell in the hallway was of old cigarettes. I paid for two nights but only stayed one night. I forfeited the money as it wasn’t worth it to stay and be so uncomfortable."

Really rather an insult ,they just shouldn't do it if they don't really want to... They were very accommodating to my small minpin pup. So all in all , they were satisfactory and pleasant.
