"Great lodging: clean room;; comfortable bed; fantastic showe; best location in town to base yourself at if you are a solo traveler touring the Bari region or just staying in Polignano. THE TWO LADY OWNERS (mom and daughter) and front desk staff person are wonderful and react immediately to your needs. Been in Italy three weeks and stayed in some nice places but La Perla is the best in terms of value and quality. Plus the place is almost brand new."

"First of all: great location! New, clean… staff on site very friendly. Some notes: Make sure if you have any advanced question / reserve parking (recommended) etc call the property directly, not the “manager”, that is an anonymous help line, of no use). A few aspects that differ from other B&B: - no coffee/tea maker in the room. - internet was pretty bad (at least in our room), you can get some messages through, but I couldn’t get into vpn, not good enough for doing work. - breakfast not included in room price (was clear when booking). Just be aware. But the great location balances these downsides. Nice touch: a small bag of Taralli as good bye present. Finally: The address from the Expedia confirmation “ Via Cala Paura 10, Polignano a Mare” in GoogleMaps brought me to a wrong location!! "Absolutely perfect! We stayed here for five nights at the end of a month long vacation and all I can say is WOW! Everything about this property is perfect, from the location to the staff (they are a family) to the beautifully remodeled interior. Just perfect! The location is absolutely walkable to everything you would want to do in Polignano a Mare as well as the train station. The family that owns and runs the hotel are very kind and go out of your way to make your stay comfortable. They told me that they did an extensive four-year remodel on the building under an architects guidance and the interior is spectacular! The stones are original and can be dated back until at least the 1700’s. They did an amazing job of creating a modern space that still captures all of the original attributes of the building. Well done! I can’t say enough good things about the Aeris - you should stay there if you have the chance!"

Carola was always attentive, caring, and happy to help with anything I needed, whether it was recommendations for local restaurants, places to visit, or simply making sure everything was perfect during my stay. Federico was equally amazing — friendly, professional, and always available with a smile and positive energy. Together, they create an atmosphere that is both relaxing and welcoming, something that is very rare to find. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless, comfortable, and clearly managed with passion and attention to detail. Every aspect of the stay exceeded my expectations, and it is obvious that Carola and Federico truly care about their guests and want everyone to have the best possible experience.
