"Great lodging: clean room;; comfortable bed; fantastic showe; best location in town to base yourself at if you are a solo traveler touring the Bari region or just staying in Polignano. THE TWO LADY OWNERS (mom and daughter) and front desk staff person are wonderful and react immediately to your needs. Been in Italy three weeks and stayed in some nice places but La Perla is the best in terms of value and quality. Plus the place is almost brand new."

"This B&B is beautiful. The remodel is stunning, the rooms beautiful, the private hot tub a job and the lounging area with views of the gorge was delightful. Cristiana goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need including recommendations and reservations. The breakfast is generous and yummy. I highly recommend."

"First of all: great location! New, clean… staff on site very friendly. Some notes: Make sure if you have any advanced question / reserve parking (recommended) etc call the property directly, not the “manager”, that is an anonymous help line, of no use). A few aspects that differ from other B&B: - no coffee/tea maker in the room. - internet was pretty bad (at least in our room), you can get some messages through, but I couldn’t get into vpn, not good enough for doing work. - breakfast not included in room price (was clear when booking). Just be aware. But the great location balances these downsides. Nice touch: a small bag of Taralli as good bye present. Finally: The address from the Expedia confirmation “ Via Cala Paura 10, Polignano a Mare” in GoogleMaps brought me to a wrong location!! From the moment I arrived, they welcomed me with genuine warmth, kindness, and professionalism that immediately made me feel at home. Carola was always attentive, caring, and happy to help with anything I needed, whether it was recommendations for local restaurants, places to visit, or simply making sure everything was perfect during my stay. Federico was equally amazing — friendly, professional, and always available with a smile and positive energy. Together, they create an atmosphere that is both relaxing and welcoming, something that is very rare to find. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless, comfortable, and clearly managed with passion and attention to detail.
