Wonderful place. The owners are great. The suites are clean and have all the necessities there for you to use ( toiletries, pans, even dish soap.) The beach is walking distance. But the pool is nice, Clean and private as well. Great place

awesome getaway at the pinewood

It was amazing!!!!!! Kim the owner was always ready to make our stay even more enjoyable!!!! Beautiful property, peace and tranquility, 8 minute walk to the beach, on-site pool was a treat, and bbq's and outdoor eating facilities were available as well. We have already booked for next year!!!!!

Quiet and relaxing.

This is small, 7 unit motel located in Lambton Shores just a short distance to the beaches of Ipperwash. We were in a two bedroom suite (one queen, one double) with a walkout from the double bed suite to a sunroom. The queen bed was comfortable although the room could use a night stand on both sides and perhaps a dresser like the double bed room. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans. Each room has it's own ceiling fan but with the air con they weren't always needed. Bathroom was clean and bright with linen and toiletries provided. Outside there were BBQs, deck loungers, tables with umbrella and chairs for each unit, and a pool which unfortunately needed several treatments while we were there to get it sparking so not always open during the quoted time. With the new owners I know there will be more changes to come to really make this place even more inviting than it already is. So, If you're looking for a quite place to get away, relax, swim in the pool or at the beach or even just sit out in the sun, this is the place to go. Enjoyed the stay and look forward to the changes and next year's stay.

Very good motel for the area. Great that it is pet friendly. We will definitely be staying again in the future. TV worked great after getting the DHMI set correctly. Would recommend a TV listing page be left in the room for the channel selections. Thanks

Such a quiet little place, our second time there and will return. Close to the beach and with covid such a nice little private place, love how the Hotel staff handle check ins no contact done through email and they let you know what you need to know prior to arriving. Same with check out no contact, very clean room and we had everything we needed in the room for our stay. A real Gem

The beds are new and comfortable. Kitchen and bath is fully stocked, including linens and soaps for cleaning. Two room has lots of space for family of 4. Staff is extremely friendly and everything is very clean, including the outside table with umbrella. We have not used the fire pits before (this is our second stay) but we have used the park and pool. We hold a family bocci ball game there. Walk to the fabulous Ipperwash public beach and short drive to provincial parks and towns for other supplies.

Super clean, comfortable beds, and everything you'd need in terms of the kitchen (even a vegetable peeler!) except...no coffee. There was a coffee maker with a mismatched carafe but it didn't have a basket, and there were no filters even if you had brought your own coffee. That seemed odd, and was definitely a disappointment, but it didn't ruin our stay. Loading and unloading can be difficult as you aren't able to pull up to your room as the rooms all open up to the pool (a trade off, considering the nice pool view you wake up to). The property was well manicured and staff - though we didn't see anyone - was friendly via messaging. Overall, we'd stay there again - hopefully with coffee next time ;)

This is my second stay here this year and definitely returning next year.It’s a gem! Everything you need, so peaceful and relaxing. Close to the beach, Pinery, shops and restaurants. Awesome A/C - good cable & strong wifi. This pool, patio and fire pits make for a wonderful stay.
