"A really great find! Un peu de cuisine française en Angleterre! Service is excellent, food is so good 10 isn’t enough. They actually know what a ‘kir’ is and the steak comes with a béarnaise thats perfectly made and at the right temperature. The dauphinoise potato was unspeakably good. The rooms are excellent, you can tell that someone has sat and thought about all the little details. Honestly, if you are anywhere near Lancaster for any reason and can find any excuse, you should eat and stay...

"Lovely house very friendly owners. I was told everything I needed to know, on arrival. I was in a back bedroom and had no problem with traffic. Single room is nice size with nice bathroom. The price I was charged was good value. If I have to stay at Lancaster again this will be my first choice. Big thank you to the owners. "

"Really good location right in the centre, lovely warm room and good shower, three separate beds so great for families with older children. Shower could have been more powerful and the communal access to all room keys felt a bit off putting. Lovely staff and nice and clean. "

"I wasn’t happy it’s not a real hotel but that was forgotten as soon as I walked in. Beautiful room with an amazing hot tub and fireplace. I could have spent the whole vaca here. I relaxed and slept well. Highly highly recommend and will stay here again for sure!"
