We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Red Caboose Motel! It was such a unique and memorable experience, and the atmosphere made our visit truly special. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and everything was just as we hoped. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We especially loved the charming caboose experience—it was fun, cozy, and something we won’t soon forget. The peaceful surroundings and unique setting made it a perfect getaway. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend the Red Caboose Motel to anyone looking for something different, relaxing, and memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed in the honeymoon suite. We booked this room to celebrate our anniversary. We liked that there was a whirlpool tub that we got to enjoy and relax in. The room had two full sets of towels which was nice to have, one for the shower and one for the whirlpool. The bed was quite comfortable. We really liked that the air conditioner was already on and the room was cooled down when we arrived. This was a nice touch especially since it was extremely warm that day. We would recommend this motel.

Beautiful spot! Fun night staying in a train car! Animals and old fashioned train, Amish buggy rides…add to the whole experience. Train cars are clean but older. Bathroom shower a bit rusty but had good water pressure. Great location if you want to go on an Amish Farm Tour!

It was neat to stay in a caboose. The property is well maintained. Easy parking and food is good at restaurant. The room is small and bathroom but that was expected it is a caboose. It was interesting experience. Glad I went. Its near toy train and the PA train museum and the railroad. Over all this place is fun to visit.

It was a great place to visit! The only negative is that we didn’t spend a longer time there, so that’s on us! There was so much to do. The kids loved feeding the animals. The accommodation was fun, clean and so unique.

The Red Caboose staff was excellent. Our rooms were not as clean as they should be. There was creepy crawlers coming in constantly and one was in my kids bed. It is a unique place however not well maintained.

We chose this property for the novelty of staying in a train car. It was fun! However, they are not fancy so you have to be prepared for the experience of it. We got a car with bunks for the kids which was fun. The bathroom sort of feels like a camper bathroom. They did have a fridge, coffee pot, dinette table and chairs in the car. We ate at the restaurant twice and it was good and convenient. They have a nice gift shop. There is a really cool player piano you have to check out! There are buggy rides right there at the property. It is a convenient location for the Strasburg RR and the Amish Village.

Very cool spot to stay and watch the train go by. Breakfast was nice at the restaurant and was very cool to eat inside a train car. Staff were extremely friendly and the location was very close to everything.
