"Love that it is family friendly. Got a cot bed for my baby.
Breakfast buffet was very good. But it looks like some staff came in to collect all our unopened tea and coffees when we were having breakfast. I don't understand why that is. "

Hotel itself is a little creaky being an old building. The room i was in was close to ventilation system so wouldnt be good for light sleepers (but ear plugs were provided).
Cleanliness couldnt be faulted, attention to detail in the rokms was great, spitless kettle, clean crockery, shiny shower etc.
Check in wasn't the clearest but after waiting at the bar for a few minutes a friendly bar tender greeted me and took me through to...
"The hotel is situated directly at the waterfront, close to the pier and nearby lanes. It was wonderful to be so close to everything and have plenty of dining options. We stayed in a family room with a view of the Town Hall and were lucky enough to witness around seven weddings—an amazing sight, even without a sea view. The parking was very convenient, and the service was exceptional; everyone was incredibly friendly. Our first visit to Brighton was fabulous, and the hotel played a big part in...
"St Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive.
Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing...
"When we checked in Nancy and Rachel greeted us with warmth and kindness. We loved the atmosphere… probably not for everyone but we freakin loved it. Was one of the most memorable and fun hotels we’ve ever visited.. and we traveled quite a bit as I’m retired from major airline.
