"Had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Originally a prison, it has been converted into a quirky, comfortable hotel retaining many of the features. The bedrooms were cells, small but well equipped with ensuite bathrooms. The position is slightly outside the centre of Stockholm but all the better. "It reminded me of a university hostel. Long corridors quirky sayings and numbers on doors. Ecological and economical! My room was a shoebox in size but then what does one really need? The sheets and duvets were sparkling clean white. Plenty of hot water with good pressure- mind your step going into the bathroom- it’s quite high- not for oldies with hip problems. Staff at Barception very warm welcoming and helpful. Especially Emma who became my conscierge. Then lastly of course it’s the location- right next door to the Arlanda Express station which takes you to the airport in 11 minutes - can’t beat that!!"
