"WARNING STAY AWAY: One step away from a scam!! I booked this property in advance as part of a larger vacation itinerary. There was NOTHING in the listing that said anything about being required to contact the property in advance for check in. "Loved the location, the building was very clean inside and out. Lacking basic room amenities. No TV, radio, or anything anywhere in the building. Power outlets in weird locations. Wasn’t pleased that we couldn’t even enter the building until check in time, that definitely needs to be looked at for future customers with luggage. "

"This hotel was perfectly situated for all that we needed in Reykjavík. The fact that there is a bakery, a bar and restaurant connected to the hotel made for an exceptional experience. We also lucked into a night of jazz for free during our stay. Small things like the free chocolates and excellent coffee machines throughout the hotel as well as the beautifully appointed conference rooms and lounge areas just added to the experience. We highly recommend to any and all. The Executor is Excelsior."

"The location was perfect. Although the courtyard had music until 11pm on the first night, it wasn’t terrible and we got past it by passing out from jet lag. The included breakfast was nice. The room was surprisingly quiet through the middle of the night while we were there. No Main Street noises at all. I would absolutely stay here again if / when I return to Reykjavik."
