"First time to Male and I should have done more research. I figured the location being close to the beach would be great but phase ii island is under lots of construction and doesn't have the services that phase I has so this is a great location if you want steps. The noise from construction and the road noise was constant. The room cooled well, but the bathroom stayed a little warm. "The view was amazing. The water was crystal clear. The staffs were friendly. Super easy to swim in the ocean. Just didnt see any fish. Our butler Sue was amazing and super helpful. She gave us a detailed tour of the island, help us find vegetarian food and booked us a trip to a nearby island for food. All the restaurant staffs were helpful to accommodate our vegetarian diet. "
