"My stay at the Kensington Hideaway made my trip to England a complete success. Stay were always so warm and welcoming and remembered me. Breakfast was always amazing and their food menu as well. "Quiet place at Earl's Court. Easy walking distance to restaurants, etc. Room was comfortable but super small - especially the shower - but that's London for you. My only significant complaint is that all four pillows were quite thick & very hard. I asked about getting a thinner / softer pillow but no luck. Unfortunately it affected my sleep to the point that I would not stay again (silly but true - not everyone likes thick hard pillows)."

"I had a single bedroom on the 4th floor away from the street but facing the rails. Eventhough it is 5 min away from Victoria station, you can hear every train arriving and departing the station. Even with earplugs I can feel the rumbling of the trains. I know this is not something that the hotel can influence however I wanted to let future travelers know. Maybe take a room facing the street - it could be quieter, but I am not sure. The staff was very nice and quiet forthcoming!"

"We had a delightful one night stay at the Rubens, centrally located right across from Buckingham Palace’s Royal Mews or stables.
