Cute and cosy wood house!

We really enjoyed our brief stay at Cosy Wood House. Although it has shared facilities, we were there as a family of 4 for most of the time on our own (with only one other person who arrived late in the evening when we were in bed!) Our family room was spacious and the bathroom incredibly clean. The property is modern and very well kept. The shared kitchen is well equipped, with a good range of utensils and crockery. There is also an oven, hob, microwave and huge fridge. It is situated in a very quiet location, with just a few neighbouring houses. The continental breakfast provided to those who choose this option is plentiful and filling - with fresh bread, croissants, coffee, cake and juice. Although it is not possible to walk to shops, they are only a short 10 minute drive away on the outskirts of Troyes. The property had WiFi, TV and a table football which kept us well entertained. The host was very friendly and spoke good English. The keys to the property were in a lock box so we could collect them conveniently.

Een mooie locatie om een te overnachten. In de buurt van een mooi (zwem)meer Lac d'Orient en de stad Troyes. Niet alleen een plek om te overnachten op de route, maar de omgeving heeft veel moois te bieden. De suite biedt net iets meer privacy. Zeker voor een verblijf van meerdere dagen.

Wij waren daar om naar de tour de France te kijken , ondertussen ook de streek verkend .heel mooie omgeving met mooie fietspaden .Auto en fietsen kunnen parkeren aan het verblijf .Was heel proper en ruime kamer en terrasje Je kan gebruik maken van gezamelijke koelkast .Het te verkrijgen ontbijt was eenvoudig en lekker maar nogal duur .

Vriendelijke eigenaren. We hadden erg veel vertraging. Ze stonden ons om 22.30 nog vriendelijk op te wachten. De familiekamer was erg ruim, schoon en de bedden waren goed.

This is a lovely place to stay - spacious room with excellent facilities. The hosts are really lovely and the additional breakfast was delicious and fairly priced. The village itself seems to have limited facilities but the host Recommended a really lovely restaurant by the lake. We’ll be visiting again on our stop off further south next time
