"Beautiful serene property right off the ocean and a river. The ocean is not a beach for swimming but the resort has a pool. Peaceful lush environment. An amazing staff all around. Sernita was very friendly and always went out of her way to satisfy our needs. Ellen was very knowledgeable about the island’s plants and allowed us to harvest to make our own unique teas. "Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. It's walkable to many shops and restaurants and right on a main street so I enjoyed the noise and vibrancy from the 2nd floor deck. My room was spotlessly clean and had a small fridge and a working air conditioner. The large deck was for all guests and overlooked the street. "The host was chill, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We paid for the shuttle service which was very convenient. The location is within walking distance from many great sites, including Trafalgar falls. I'd recommend staying for more than 1 night to really enjoy the area. "Anchorage Hotel is a great place to stay, close to Roseau. We ate breakfast next door at Ocean Edge restaurant, and we bought a few groceries at Green's Supermarket up the road as you go toward Wallhouse community. Our room had an electric tea kettle and coffee supplies and a small frig. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. We also appreciated having parking just off the street for our rental car."
