"The hotel was just lovely - very helpful staff, a very comfortable room, free parking in a very near underground car park and a lovely breakfast. What more could you want? The sauna in the cellar was a treat after walking in the mountains, as was the offer of a professional mountain guide 3 times a week to expand the walking experiences. "We loved our three-night stay at Residence Altea! The location was great - very central to the pedistrian-only section of Ortesei and near the veniculars/cable cars to the various mountain hikes. The room was very large and spacious and well-equipped! The breakfast was included and delicious! Monika at the front desk was always helpful and very, very friendly. She had great hiking tips each day based on the weather :) We also took full advantage of the spa ammenities and enjoyed them very much...

The hotel offers an easy location to get to both while not in the heart of downtown Ortisei.
