A lovely hotel with friendly staff and an excellent menu for dining. You need a taxi from the station, but once you are there it is walking distance to everything in this very interesting city. Tourist Information is very helpful too.

Characterful Hotel in centre of Le Mans

Very clean and brilliant location for the town with public car park nearby. Scent in the room for calming a bit overpowering but luckily the window opened to give plenty of fresh air. New bathroom facilities very welcome. Unique hotel.

Property was quirky but was clean and had everything we needed. We booked at very short notice & We had a loft room which was huge with a double bed for our daughter as well as us. It was on the 3rd floor with no lift which was a bit of a challenge with our luggage. Breakfast was expensive for what was available but arriving late the night before it was easiest option. Overall a nice hotel which was good value in a good location in Le Mans.

The hotel was well located. The room was clean and comfortable. No prior notice that the restaurant was closed for three weeks. When ordering a Pastis without water it came with water. Waitress said thats how it came out of the bottle. When she showed me the bottle it was evident the Pastis had indeed been pre mixed. The waitress did find a correct bottle but was charged 5 euros for the privilege. Seems dodgy that there was a pre mixed bottle.No doubt an easy way for bar staff to supplement their wages.Dissppointing

Really friendly and helpful staff, were given a room that totally exceeded our expectations for the rate paid. Lovey and spacious with the added joy of a small balcony to enjoy some fresh air and people watching. Had a great 24 hour stay in Le Mans enhanced by the choice of hotel.

Artyster is in a fabulous location for walking around Le Mans - there is a secure underground car park 2 mins away, and it's less than 10 mins into the old town and cathedral. The rooms were spacious and the air conditioning effective. Staff were very friendly.

Cute place, lovely staff, interior design clever and arty. Very convenient to parking, old town, lots of great shops. One caveat for those who don’t want to get their stairs in - no elevator.

Great, small, chic and friendly

Small, chic, clean, friendly, staff spoke English well, breakfast was good! Overnight parking was full so we had to park on the street which was free, also no elevators. Was great for the one night that we needed it for.

Rooms too cold!

We loved this hotel until we found out there was no heating in the room. There were radiators but they didn’t work. We asked the reception and they say they can’t heat the room over 19 degrees (but it felt even colder). We froze during the night and we were travelling with a young kid.

Quirky as described, strangely quiet but great location. Driving and parking is not so straightforward. To obtain best discount you need to dash into hotel get a ticket for their subsidised price then go to car park. But once parked itmits a a stones throw walk away. The staff are friendly.

Le personnel est sympathique. Le petit déjeuner était beaucoup trop léger, plus de café qu'on a du redemander, pareil pour le pain, pas de grille pain, viennoiseries riquiqui, pas assez de choix pour les viennoiseries, salade de fruits insipide et pas de choix de fruits frais. Chambre non insonorisé, on a était réveillé plusieurs fois dans la nuit et le matin, malheureusement manque de respect des gens. Chambre et salle de bain très propre et si sentait très bon.

Hôtel formidable
