Set in lovely gardens, a welcoming, French house with super rooms and one of the most comfortable beds I've stayed in for a long time. Stayed with my husband and 11 yr old and we had 2 rooms with a jack and Jill bathroom. The rooms were full of character with views out to the gardens. No croissant for breakfast but super homemade breads, yoghurts and spreads with cheese and cereals. We were also given some of the homemade bread for our onward journey. We stayed 2 nights in order to visit Mont St Michel. It was very convenient. The hotel is an old manor house, very nicely decorated. We were on a floor which had no lift access but I guess that's normal for this kind of old place. They had a lift for some other floors. Our bedroom was very nicely decorated and clean. TV had French and UK channels which was good. The Wifi was OK but not great. We didn't try the breakfast, prefered a walk to the nearby boulangerie. Pontorson is a small town but it...

The area where hotel is is behind a barrier and the hotel provide an access code in order for you to retrieve an access card. It costs €12.50 Each time you leave, so if you leave and enter twice in a day, that is 2 x €12.50. If you are there for more than one day it is min €12.50 per day. Area is lovely and quiet around the hotel. Hotel itself is clean and basic, restaurant is fine too. Loads of parking. There is a shuttle bus to the Mont every few minutes, very handy.
