"We had the best room ever! Very spacious and the location is amazing, right on the ski hill. The spa is great and don't miss the very cozy bar with fireplace. The staff were excellent, very helpful getting us ski rentals and information. Loved this hotel, truly a wonderful place to stay!"

Staff seemed a bit more cohesive and attentive last visit and breakfast seemed more generous last time. And though we are successfully dieting and without our dog, the room seemed a bit smaller. "Hotel Albana was an excellent hotel and I was very pleased with my stay. The hotel has great amenities including the restaurant, foyer bar and lounge, and the spa which was modern, very clean and included a dry sauna, steam room, outdoor cedar hot tub, and a cold plunge. "Overall this hotel was good, but not our favourite on this trip. The service and staff were wonderful but the fact that a 5 star hotel like this does not offer air conditioning was surprising. We know Europe is mixed on air conditioning but this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, with modern amenities. With a heat wave during our stay this was uncomfortable. Called upon arrival and got an automated message saying they were not available! So got a taxi. With construction there was no other way to reach the hotel. No help with luggage upon arrival!
