"Our room had 2 queen beds & a lovely kitchenette. The beds & pillows were very comfortable. The kitchenette had everything we needed to make meals & keep our food cold. The bathroom just had a shower (no tub) & was on the small size, but it had good water pressure & lots of hot water. We could park right up to our room which made loading & unloading the car very easy. The staff were very helpful & friendly."
"Stayed here before and I was again satisfied with the hotel it’s nice having a restaurant and bar in the hotel. I did however find the bed a bit hard 😩"
"The staff are very welcoming. The room was clean and well-appointed with a small table below the tall window. The bathroom products were plentiful in containers attached to the wall of the shower and beside the sink, including hand/body lotion. The bed and pillows were comfortable.
Even though our room faced the front of the road, traffic noise was not an issue. Our only criticism was that our room was on the main floor and unfortunately the clients above us were noisy, which we only discovered after we went to bed."
"Beautifully restored old hotel.
We were very impressed with the front office worker, who was very kind, told us a little about the local area, and helped us find a luggage trolley. I can't remember her name, but she was working the evening of July 1. The hotel is obviously old, but has been updated with modern conveniences. Would be nice to have more usb outlets, and a breakfast option, but maybe there isn't space for that. The parking was pretty tight, especially near the front entrance. We didn't really care for the stairs in the hallways, and people with disabilities may have a difficult time navigating the building. There is no pool on site, but we were allowed to use the pool and hot tub at a lovely property down the street.
The location is excellent, though about a 15 minute walk to the town center. There's a nice waterfront park and a mall next to the hotel, as well as a tourist street car that takes you up and down the lakefront. We would definitely stay here again as it was an excellent value, the hotel is clean and comfortable, and the staff is amazing."
"Our stay was top notch. The hotel has so much character and charm. The restaurants were excellent and the service top notch. The biggest plus for us was how accommodating the staff was and how happy they seemed to be in their work. It speaks to a great team and first class management. Congratulations on a great product.
