"The residence is in a quiet peaceful location reached via a windy hillly road. In the 4 nights we stayed in early September, we saw, from the large windows of our rooms, clear views of the hills and mountain, starry nights, misty cloudy views and even a lightening show. All spectacular. The two rooms were spacious enough and clean to our liking, affordable, the staff friendly and Chamonix a half hour drive away. "

"To say that the photographs of the apartment were misleading would be a misuse of the term. Totally mis-representational would be more appropriate (it was a completely different space). On arrival, there was no-one there to give us keys and no-one answered the phone when we tried repeatedly to call. Only after we hijacked one of the neighbours keys and left a message through the ski hire guy did we get a call at nearly midnight and finally got let into a room (not the one we booked). They...

"This was literally the absolute worst hotel (really, it was more like a hostel) that I have stayed in either stateside or abroad. The property only allows you to communicate with them during two short periods daily around check-in and out. Their information indicates check in is not on the property. "Indoor/outdoor pool looked nice, but only open 10 am to 7 pm, so we missed it. Everything else was great. Very nice team who held our luggage both before checkin and after check out."
