"The property is very good for relaxation. If you want touristy vibe, night life and activities to do within walking distance stay on the Dutch side. There is nothing close by the hotel besides a grocery store, pizza restaurant by the way it was really good and a laundry mat. They do offer transportation however it can get very pricey depending how often you leave the property. They only accept euros and speak 100% French with some English. Dutch side is English speaking. "We have been to St Martin 5 times, this being our first stay at Oyster Bay resort. We loved the property and its proximity to Orient Beach and Grand Case. The layout of the resort is great, with a beautiful infinity pool as well as access to the beach. "Gorgeous beach for walking and relaxing on. The water is so clear and calm. You can float on the water on for hours. Lots of great choices for eating. Beautiful pools especially the infinity ones. Rooms are lovely and super clean. We arrived when the maid was cleaning and there was not one surface that was not thoroughly cleaned. Even the balcony. We will definitely be back next year!!!!!!"

"We enjoyed princess heights. Not super close to restaurants so keep that in mind. Being able to cook food for breakfast was a plus. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Jetted tub was a highlight to end each day. Would be nice if there was a screen on balcony door so you could leave open without mosquitoes coming in. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen had essentials for cooking such as pans and dishware. Dish soap was appreciated. "
