"I would like to mention Liam and Linsey who were both extremely helpful when we arrived at the hotel. Liam went out of his way to sort our rooms out and assisted us to our rooms. Linsey was also super helpful on check out. The hotel was in a great location and was great for a big group of friends who were doing a charity walk. Friends from Ireland too details as said they would stay again. "

"It's a central location in old town: 5 minutes from Castle and 2 minutes to Royal mile. Victoria street is next over so it gets a 5 star for location. That comes with its own downside, loud noise from bars was audible well into the night even with the windows closed. The apartment is very clean and spacious. Living room and kitchen are downstairs and king bed and sofa bed are upstairs. We were 2 adults and a kid and were comfortable. The only problem was the thermostat which had its own mind....

"The bed is incredibly comfortable. The rooms are clean and very quaint. The area around there is perfect in the sense that it is quiet, but there’s outstanding dining and you could walk to the older part of town. The only confusing part is that you need to check in by the iPad. This is easily figured out, but it does add a wrinkle after your transatlantic flight. I would definitely stay here again. Having a kitchen with all the necessary appliances and cutlery, and a washer/dryer was a huge benefit!
