"I stayed at this hotel in Jackson last night simply because I needed to get away for a little while. This morning, I woke up to a dead battery and honestly had no idea who I was going to call. i walked back inside and told the receptionist, “My battery is dead. I just need to sit here for a minute and figure out what I’m going to do. I have jumper cables, but I don’t have anybody to jump me off.” She was so kind and said, “Okay, that’s fine, hun. I’m so sorry.” Shortly after, she came back and asked Joshua, who works there, if he could help me. And Joshua did just that. He came outside and stayed with me for about 45 minutes trying to get my car started. I didn’t have anything to give him, and I didn’t even ask him to help, but he did anyway. When you’re already having a hard day and feel like you’re on your own, having a complete stranger show you that kind of kindness means EVERYTHING.
Thank you to the receptionist and especially Joshua. Y’all showed me kindness when I really needed it, and I won’t forget that. I 100,000% recommend this hotel. Not just because of the room, but because of the PEOPLE. I’m riding with y’all."
