Good and interesting place to stay

This fine old house has many interesting features. I stayed in the belfry and the room was really nice. I was impressed by the manager's extra effort to make the stay easy. It's important to know that there is no lift and no rooms at ground level. Overall I feel it was a good place to stay.

Que le beurre sout rance et qu'il faille payer en liquide

Que le beurre soit rance et que le petit dejeuner soit un peu simplet... A transformer. Que je sois obligée de payer en liquide, car pas la possibilité de payer par carte... A changer. Que l'accueil soit étrange et le personnel aussi... A améliorer. Bref ! Ce fut étrange mais malgré tout sympathique.

Accueil chaleureux , restaurant avec peu de choix mais de bonne qualité Point négatif , l’hôtel mériterait un rafraîchissement , il n’est pas assez chauffé et les chambres Manquent de personnalisation ou de petites attentions Cela reste quand même une halte sympathique grâce à l’accueil

J'ai adoré cet endroit.

J'ai trouvé les gérants des lieux extrêmement gentils, accueillants et très accommodants. J'ai eu le droit à un 2ème cacao pour mon petit déjeuner, sans payer de surplus, petit déjeuner qui était déjà très copieux. Cette demeure est vraiment sublime. J'avais l'impression d'être une véritable princesse, pour la 1ere fois de ma vie. La nuit très calme, j'ai merveilleusement bien dormi. Le restaurant était un vrai délice. Que du bonheur ! Je recommande vraiment.

Mooie, klassieke ambiance en fijne mensen

Hotel is gevestigd in schitterend (oud) gebouw met wat groen eromheen. Ook de binnenzijde straalt die allure oud, terwijl de badkamer in onze kamer wel helemaal gemoderniseerd was. De service was prima. Een echte aanrader voor een tussenstop in bijzondere setting!

Hotell med utgånget bäst före-datum

Hotellet har säkert varit fint en gång i tiden. Byggnaden och rummen är rejält nedgångna och i behov av upprustning. Badrummet var förvisso fräscht men sovrummet kändes inte som att det någonsin rustats upp med bl a eluttag som lossnade från väggen. Hotellföreståndaren var vänlig men lite märklig. Han ringde mig på eftermiddagen och undrade vid vilken tid vi skulle vara tillbaka på hotellet igen och han verkade bli sur när jag sa att det skulle bli sent. När jag sa att vi inte ville äta middag på hotellet blev han också lite irriterad. Inte förrän sista kvällen fick vi koden till dörren... Sängarna var väldigt slitna och obekväma. På rummet fanns ingen fläkt eller AC och det blev väldigt varmt. Till slut fick vi låna en fläkt från receptionen. Maten på restaurangen var väldigt god och prisvärd. Om man inte vill bo på hotellet är restaurangen fortfarande värd ett besök om man har vägarna förbi.

Très bon accueil. Hôtel très calme. La restauration est de grande qualité. La chambre est claire et très spacieuse, dommage que le mobilier donne un aspect un peu vieillot. La salle de bain est moderne et très agréable. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent.

Le lieu ainsi que le service,rien à redire. En ce qui concerne la vétusté de la chambre que j'occupais, il n'en va pas de même... A voir par la suite si le propriétaire vient bien réagir ! Si il prend une certaine chambre, a ce jour, je lui certifie qu'il ne pourra pas dormir beaucoup de la nuit.

Pour des personnes âgées pas commode les escaliers pour monter au dernier étage avec des valises le parquet fait trop de bruit les chambres sont mal éclairées dans la baignoire il faut un tapis anti dérapant

2nd stay not as good as 1st one

It was my 2nd stay in this hotel. The 1st one was good in overall so I decided to repete this experience, however this time was a different story. The booking and contact by email went well. I also made sure I let the hotel know I would arrive very late (11 pm) as they do not have a 24/7 desk which I understand. I also mentioned that I would need an early breakfast, which was confirmed by the manager. Few bad points: - The staff had not left any information to connect to the wifi (no password or login) whether at the reception or in the room. Not convenient when you cannot rely on data. - At 7.15 am I went at the reception expecting to have breakfast (I was in a rush with a meeting at 8 am, hence my request). However the first staff arrived at 7.40 am.... He did not seem to be aware that I had requested an early breakfast. - Once ready to check-out, it took 10 min (no jokes) to get a simple bill for the breakfast as the person at the reception had no clue how to do it and had to call his manager. Good job my meeting was only min driving away. Overall it is a fairly nice hotel, not pricy, and basically the only one in the area. However the service has to improve when the managers are not around.

La vie de Chateau

Bel établissement . Très bon accueil. Chambre vaste même pour 3 personnes. Belle salle de bain Petits déjeuners de bonne qualité servis dans un salon. Nous reviendrons dans cet établissement et resterons cette fois pour diner car le restaurant nous plait, au vu du menu, notamment l'utilisation de produits frais et l'originalité des suggestions ainsi que le cadre que nous avons beaucoup apprécié.

Grosse déception

Grosse décéption ; j'avais réservé cet hotel essentiellement par les avis sur le restaurant or celui-ci est fermé pendant l'été … Donc après 2H30 de trajet il a fallu que je reprennes la voiture et que j'écume les alentours à la recherche de quelque chose d'ouvert. Au niveau de la chambre : exposée plein sud fenetre fermée et volet ouvert autant dire que la chaleur était étouffante (surtout en alerte canicule). De plus pas de bouteille d'eau à disposition … Confort de la litterie : à revoir ; j'ai eu mal au dos. Certaine photos de hotel.com montrent une piscine : publicité mensongère ou je suis miro... Point positif : la salle de bain refaite et le parquet d'origine.

Very nice hotel on a very special location.

We stayed a few nice in this very romantic hotel. The view from the hotel is magnificent and the next to the hotel situated gardens are impressive.
